After being a reefer for 2 years, the science and technology behind sustaining a saltwater aquarium has vastly changed.  I’ve used T5 and MH lighting for my setups, but now seems like LED is quickly becoming the next iteration in aquarium lighting.  The LED lighting fixtures available now can be quite costly and I can’t justify a reason to spend on a unit.

The Ecoray do come in at a reasonable price and the fixture does look eye catching.  I can also see aquarists using multiple configurations to have it fully customizable for their setups. I would love to pit the LED to a 250W MH and if there is any long term effects.  Got questions, read the full post via Reefbuilders.
